Full
time artist Marisa Keller grew up in Vlissingen
near the sea in the South of the Netherlands.
She lives and works in Singapore since 1993.
Trained
as a painter she was always interested in
printmaking and started to produce colour
woodcuts in the early nineties. During this time
she decided to follow the Master of Fine Arts
program of RMIT University (Melbourne) at
LaSalle-SIA in Singapore with a main focus on
printmaking.
During
this time she started to produce etchings and
monotypes Other techniques like video
installations were introduced in to her practice
and now she is dedicated to push the boundaries
between printmaking and other media. She is
currently a part-time lecturer printmaking at
LaSalle-SIA, College of the Arts in Singapore.
Marisa
Keller's paintings, prints and video
installations were shown in Singapore, USA,
Australia and the Netherlands.
Her
works can be found in private and corporate
collections in Singapore, the Netherlands,
Australia, USA and Indonesia.
