Saturday 11 March at 15.00: I will give a walk-through tour and explain some of the techniques and themes of the participating artists.

De Prent- Sleutel voor Eigentijds Grafiek 9 September 2022 - 12 March 2023 Opening 11 September Museum 't Oude Slot Veldhoven , the Netherlands Museum 't Oude Slot has an extensive collection of antique and modern prints. Members of 'Grafiekplatform' an national printmaking society were invited to choose one or more prints of the collection of the museum to take as starting point and inspiration to create a new work. I choose one of the 'childrens prints' from the 18e century depicting the four elements as an allegory of Greek/roman gods . These 'kinderprenten' were distributed for learning and amusement purposes. For my interpretation of the four elements, earth, water, fire and air, I choose to create an imaginary landscape built up using 4 different printmaking techniques and each representing an element: flowers and plants representing earth, etching for water, chine colle for fire and embossing for air. Works of the society members will be juxtaposed with the works from the museum collection in this interesting group exhibition |

Solo Exhibition TUSSEN LAND EN WATER (Between Land and Water) 2022 In this solo exhibition I will present new collage paper works on canvas and paper. The papers I used are hand printed nature prints, woodcuts and monotypes. By deconstructing the printed images and re-arranging the fragments a new landscape composition emerges. Hida-Takayama International Contemporary Woodblock- Prints Triennial 2020 JAPAN Organizer: Takayama City, Japan 'Bamboo' will be included in the exhibition and received a Co- sponsor prize (Hida Woodworking Federation) Bamboo is a multilayered woodblock/ woodcut with nature print. Printing with bamboo is used in combination with woodcut and embossing. Printed in warm colours of summer, the mystic and powerful plant symbolizes growth, virtue and resilience. Printed in an edition of 7. 352 images from 38 countries were send in. In a second round the jury choose 61 works from 121 actual prints to include in the exhibition.
